Bohol Escapade

Bohol is a perfect spot for ecotourism. Making it as a well rounded destination, not just because of its rounded shape but because whether you're the allocentric or psycocentric type, you will surely have fun with variety of activities that you can do and experience here. As for our case, we just came impulsively. I opt for an adventure so instead of doing my usual plane travel, I insist to travel by water - crossed the waters of Cebu to get to Bohol. Also for the love of getting lost, I didn't booked or even researched for our accommodation. But everything went well, Boholanos were so helpful and hospitable. It was indeed a fun and remarkable experience for me, my mom and my little brother.

Loboc river cruise. Fulfilling experience that you should not miss in Loboc.

Baclayon Church a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is considered to be the 2nd oldest in the country.

Prony the largest and longest phyton in captivity!

Man-made forest in Bilar. Hectares of  Mahogany planted by Boy Scouts of the Philippines.

I asked a group of Fisherman if I can see and apparently taste the sea urchin or "tuyom" in bisaya that they got from the Sandy shore of Panglao.

Meet and greet with forever young Bayoyoy - acclaimed to be the smallest human of his age.

Tarsier suddenly jumped in to me, just be gentle with these suicidal little creatures.

Variety of street foods, from prawns, squids, barbeque, isaw, native chicken, siomai and puso (Visayan way of preparing rice)

Dubay, cozy Panglao stay for less.

The powdery sands of Panglao Island. Boats can bring you to the nearby Pamilacan and Balicasag for a great sight of whales and dolphins in their natural habitat.
